Found this image on the WW2 Aircraft forum which shows a variety of aircraft at NAS Miami in 1943(ish).  I count 12 F2A-3s discernable in the top right corner

heard so many stories from him about those days of WW II.. over the last 30-40 years...from dropping gas because enemy fire got too close...to the transport
planes blowing up before take off.

Finnish but those who can read them can get much out of the text or help others.
