			<description><![CDATA[ I was directed to this site for the information on the Piper Cub used during WWII. I wanted to share these two photos of J-2 Piper Cub S/N 1319 that the US
captured form the Germans. My PapaGeorge (grandfather) is the one who flew the J-2 back to US airfields. He can be seen in the first image propped up in front.
The second image has the serial number 1319 on the tail. I scanned the image at a very high resolution and was able to read the number. My PapaGeorge passed
