HERE'S an article I hadn't seen before by 2nd Squadron pilot William H. Fish, Jr. (as told to Martin Sheridan) that appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer sometime in 1942. It describes some of his experiences and conditions encountered while with the AVG in Burma. Fish left the AVG early because of a tropical illness with an honorable discharge. He died in 1987. The article was reprinted in the Bowdoin Alumnus Milestone, Vol. XVII, No. 2 (February 1943).
